    [Cancer/Nanoscience]

     

     The researches for optimizing cancer therapy by conjugation of herb-derived compound and metal nanoparticle.

      - Raising the technical and academic standard of one more step in cancer treatment by fusing nanotechnology with oriental medicine that have been judged strengths of Korea.

      - Selecting and evaluating the toxic effects of herb-derived compound and synthesized nanoparticle.

      - Cancer targeting and safety test in vivo based on the last research.

     

     

     

    [Genomics]

     

     Development of abiotic and biotic stress tolerant synthetic hexaploid wheat (SHW) breeding materials against climate changes

      - Screen the abiotic and biotic stress tolerant synthetic wheat genes from T. durum and Ae. tauschii  gene resources

      - Select the quality resources through genomics like SNP marker and diverse molecular techniques.

     

     

     

    [Plant growth promoting rhizobacteria(PGPR)]

     

     Development of bio-fertilizers containing PGPR and plant growth stimulants to enhance organic cultivation efficacy of horticultural crops 

      - Screening and isolation of PGPR from horticultural rhizosphere

      - Development of plant growth stimulation effective material extraction technologies of natural and functional biomaterials 

      - Examination of biomaterial extracts on horticultural crop growth stimulation 

     

     

     

     

    [Self-healing concrete]

     

     Development of self-healing concrete using calcium carbonate-precipitating bacteria

      - Development of bio-carrier which safely contains bacteria that can fill up a gap of concrete

      - Estimate the ability of self-healing and set up the best condition of mixture.
