KWON, Min Hyeok

chairman of TEAS

Min Hyeok Kwon is a Ph.D candidate in the Department of Japanese Language and Literature of Korea University. His research focuses on Literary Museum in Japan and Korea, especially the touristic function of them. Studying literary tourism through the connection between Literary museum and the local tourism places or materials.



KIM, Dong Jin 

vice-chairman of TEAS

Dong Jin Kim is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Chinese Language and Literature of Korea University. He receives his B.A. in Seoul National University and his M.A. in Columbia University. He is interested in the field of ancient Chinese poetry, especially written in Tang Dynasty.




BAE, Sue Hyon 

Sue Hyon Bae is a Ph.D. candidate in Comparative Culture and Literature at Arizona State University. Her work focuses on contemporary Korean society, health humanities, and illness narratives, and her dissertation is on contemporary South Korean cancer narratives. She also holds an M.F.A. in creative writing from Arizona State University and a B.A. in English literature from Washington University in St. Louis.



LIU, Kai Qi

Kaiqi Liu is a Ph.D. student from Capital Normal University. His major is ancient Chinese literature. His research fields include the literature research from the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties to the Tang Dynasty, the study of Chinese classical poetry, and the study of Lee Pak's Reception in Korea.



WANG, Kan

Kan Wang is a Ph.D. student in the department of Comparative Literature at University of Tsukuba. He holds a M.A. in Comparative Literature from University of Tsukuba and a B.A. in English Literature from Central South University. His major interests are about avant-garde fictions in China and Japan after WWII and the culture industry behind them.



WEI, Yi Chun 

Yi-chun Wei is a Ph.D. Candidate in Taiwan Literature of National Taiwan University. His research interests include Taiwan classical literature and Chinese poetry during the Korean colonial period. Wei’s recent publications include The Tension of the Mourning: A Comparative Study of Classical Mourning Poems in Taiwan and Korea Under the Colonial Period2023and Who Founded the Chinese Poetry Communities in Asia: Exploring the Connections between Post-war Chinese Poetry Communities in Taiwan and South Korea from the Perspectives of Shao Yulin, Peng Guodong, and Lee Seon Geun2022etc.
